UNURI SENA WARA SENA
FESTA 2009
Għal-ewwel darba fl-2009, il-Parroċċa Arċi-Matriċi ta’ Marija Annunzjata ta’ Ħal Tarxien organizzat kompetizzjoni għal-isbaħ faċċati mżejna għal-festa Titulari. Għal kompetizzjoni daħħlu sebgħa faċċati. L-ewwel post ġie mirbuħ minn James Desira, membru fl-Għaqda Kultura u Armar Marija Annunzjata, kif ukoll jagħti sehem attiv meta narmaw l-armar meravilja għal-Festa.
F’isem il-Kumitat, nawgura lil James tas-suċċess li kiseb.
PROSIT
For the first time in 2009, the Arch-Matrice Parish of the Annunciation organized a competition of the best façade decorated for the Titular Feast. Seven entered the competition. The first prize was won by James Desira, a member of the Annunciation Cultural and Decorating Club, also a helping hand in the preparations of the feast decorations.
On behalf of the committee, I congratulate with James for the honor received.

L-EWKARISTIJA FOSTNA
THE EUCHARIST AMONGS US
Nhar il-Ġimgħa 30 ta' Mejju 2008, festa tal-Qalb Imqaddsa ta' Kristu, il-Parroċċa Arċi-Matriċi tar-raħal, organizzat il-pellegrinaġġ b'Ġesu' Ewkaristija. Bi ftehim mal-Kappillan, f'tarf Triq San Ġużepp, ġie armat Artal min fejn ingħatat il-Barka Sagramentali. B'qima lejn Ġesu' Sagramentat, l-għaqda ħalliet l-armar tal-festa u intrama l-bieb tal-purċissjoni tal-Ġimgħa l-Kbira. It-toroq San Ġużepp u Sorijiet ġew mixgħula għal-okażżjoni.
Ringrazzjamenti jmorru lil-Kappiilan u l-Kleru ta' l-unur li tagħna li Kristu Ewkaristija għadda mit-toroq fejn narmaw għall-festa. Ringrazzjament ieħor jmur lis-sur Herman Galea ta' P.A.R.K. (Park, Afforestazzjoni u Restawr tal-Kampanja) fi ħdan il-Ministeru għar-Riżorsi u Affarijiet Rurali, għas-self tal-pjanti li tagħna biex insebbħu l-Artal b'qima u rispett lejn Kristu Ewkaristija.
On Friday 30th May 2008, feast of the Holy Heart of Christ, the Arch-Matrice Parish of our Village, organized a pilgrimage with the Holy Eucharist. With the collaboration between us and the Parish Priest, in the end of Saint Joseph Street, was decorated an Altar from where a Sacramental Blessing was held. With the worship towards the Sacrament, our club left the decorations of the feast and also decorated the door of the Good Friday Paegent. Saint Joseph Street and Sisters Street were lit for the occasion.
Thanks goes to the Parish Priest and his clergy for the honor he gave us that Christ the Eucharist came into our streets where we decorate. Also thanks goes to Mr. Herman Galea of P.A.R.K. (Park, Afforestazzjoni u Restawr tal-Kampanja) under the Minister of Resources and Rural Affairs, for the hiring of the plants he gave us to decorate the Altar with respect and devotion towards Christ the Eucharist.

Fost l-esebiti li kien hemm fi triq il-Merkanti, l-Għaqda tagħna kienet l-unika għaqda li esebit trofej komplut armat u installazzjoni ta' bukketti tal-fjuri.
From all the exhibits in Merchants Street, our club was the only one that exhibited a "trofej" fully decorated and also an installment of two bouquets of flowers.

Il-passjoni
mat-toroq ta' Ħal Tarxien hi l-oriġinali u saret sinonima ma' kulħadd
u tiġbed in-nies mhux biss Maltin u Għawdxin, li jinżlu minn Għawdex
apposta għal-passjoni. Imma wkoll barranin u ġurnalisti li jiġu
apposta Malta għal festi tal-Ġimgħa Mqaddsa u għal-Passjoni
tagħna. Fost dawn insemmu lil Alexandra Nair, ġurnalista ta' l-iktar
gazzetta influenti u popolari ġewwa l-Portugall, l-Expresso. Fis-sena 2007 ġiet
apposta biex tara il-passjoni mat-toroq ta' Ħal Tarxien għax kienet
ilha tisma dwarha u xtaqet li taraha b’għajnejha stess. L-artiklu tagħħa
jidher bi prominenza fuq is-sit ta' l-istess gazzetta.
Ħaġa bħal din tħossok kburi li tagħmel parti minn din l-Għaqda li taħdem għal-Kultura ta' pajjiżna.
The passion around the streets of Tarxien is the original and is synonym with everyone and attracts not Maltese and Gozitans, that come from Gozo to see the paegent. But also people and journalists from abroad come for one purpose, to see the Maltese Holy Week celebrations and for our paegent. One of them is Alexandra Nair, a journalist from the most fluent and popular newspaper in Portugal, the Expresso. In 2007, she came for the Passion around the streets of Tarxien after for a while heard about it and liked to see it with her own eyes. Her article is shown with an importance also on the newspaper website.
A news like this makes you proud that you are a part from this club that works for our country's culture.
BARRA MINN XTUTNA, ĠEWWA L-ITALJA
ABROAD FROM OUR COUNTRY, IN ITALY
Il-pavaljuni ta' Triq is-Sorijiet, sett ta' sittax, armati fi triq "Corso Giuseppe Garibaldi" f'Abruzzo, ġewwa l-Italja bejn it-18 u l-25 ta' Lulju tas-sena 2006. L-unika għaqda ġo Ħal Tarxien li esebit l-armar tagħħa barra minn Malta.
The pavilions of Sister Street, a set of sixteen, decorated in "Corso Giuseppe Garibaldi" Street in Abruzzo, Italy between the 18th and the 25th of July 2006. A unique achievement for us cause we were the only club in Tarxien that exhibited it's own decoration abroad.

THE HONOR "GIEH HAL TARXIEN"
L-Unur "Ġieh Ħal Tarxien" ġie ppreżentat lill-Għaqda Kultura u Armar Marija Anunzjata, mis-Sindku tar-raħal, is-sur Pawlu Farruġia fl-okkażżjoni ta' Jum Ħal Tarxien, li ġie mtella' fi Ġnien Joanne nhar is-26 ta' Ġunju 2005. Dan l-unur ġie mogħti lill-għaqda għall-ħidma li tagħmel matul is-sena ġo Ħal Tarxien.
The honor "Gieh Hal Tarxien" was presented to the "Annunciation" Cultural and Decorating Club, from the Mayor Paul Farrugia on the occasion of Tarxien Day. The show took place on Sunday the 26th of June 2005 in Joanne Garden. This honor was granted to the club for all the cultural activities that are organized throughout the year.
